Welcome to Rice Creative Services: graphic designer and Minnesota-themed puzzle maker. My puzzles, posters and games blend nostalgia with fun designs and are available in select Minnesota retail stores or wholesale for your shop!
As an avid puzzler with 20 years of retail experience, I blend graphic design and playful creativity to craft fun, whimsical puzzles and products. I love featuring artwork from my creative family as well!
I also create custom vector art, including logos and graphics and specialize in vector tracing. I enjoy collaborating with others on new ideas. I’m responsive, flexible, and easy to work with, making the process smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

Hi! I’m Melanie Rice, a graphic designer based in the northwoods of Minnesota with over 20 years of experience in the creative world.
While I offer a variety of design services, my main focus is on logo design and vector tracing—clean, crisp, and built to last. I don’t take on just any project; I like to work with people and brands that I truly connect with. Good design takes time, and I believe in spending mine wisely.
These days, my biggest passion is designing puzzles. Not your everyday puzzles, though—these are full of Minnesota charm, featuring whimsical hand-drawn illustrations that highlight the beauty, quirks, and spirit of this great state. You’ll find them in local shops around Minnesota, and they’re also available for wholesale if you’re looking to stock something unique and local.
